There is a three-team tie at the top of the South Zone of the Secondary Schools Football League South Zone Championship Division table following the latest round of matches played on Tuesday.
Pleasantville Secondary lead the table with eleven points on a better goal difference after having to settle for a point in a 2-2 draw away to Moruga Secondary. Second placed Moruga Secondary closed in on P/Ville as they leveled off on points after six matches but have played a game more than the current league leaders.
Point Fortin Secondary moved into third place with eleven points after completed a 1-0 win at home over Princes Town West Secondary.
Valecia East moved to the top of the East Zone table on 13 points from five games with a 3-1 victory over El Dorado East at Valencia. Arima North Secondary are in second place with ten points with a game in hand.
East Mucurapo Secondary moved four points clear of second place Malick Secondary with a 7-2 win over St Francis Secondary to climb to 16 points. Malick could only muster a 1-1 draw away to Diego Martin North.
In Central, Chaguanas North also stayed ahead of the pack with a 1-1 draw with Presentation College, Chaguanas, moving to 13 points, four more than second placed Gasparilla Secondary.
Goodwood Secondary currently top the Tobago Zone with 13 points, same as second placed Bishop’s High School.
